Unable to install or open Adobe Illustrator on Mac with OS 10.15.5

I tried to open my copy of Adobe Illustrator today while running Mac OS 10.15.5, and the progam did not even start. The icon allows the double click and then nothing happens.

I thought maybe I needed to download the latest version of Adobe Illustrator, but after I downloaded the installer and unzipped it, it does the same. I double click the icon, it allows the double click and then nothing happens. It appears it doesn't engage the program at all.

Now I see that none of my adobe programs are working at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you still cannot access your Adobe apps via the Cloud I will move this to The Creative Cloud forum. There is one conversation that is relative to your issue so please check this link out:

Sorry to keep bouncing you around but there is a solution out there and we'll continue to work and find it.

The most obvious-which I am sure you have checked- is are you signed in to creative cloud?

Next step is to contact Adobe- https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Thank you for the suggestion.

I thought I was, but when I checked it appeared that the Adobe Cloud Application did not transfer to my new computer.

I checked my old computer and it is definitely still there.

I tried to download the Adobe Cloud Application to my new computer, but the installation program stuck on 43% and did not proceed for over an hour.
I quit the installation and after it asked if I wanted to quit and I confirmed, it then stuck on quitting the installation for 15 minutes.
I finally force quit the installation and ejected the installer.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. If I understand it correctly, I cannot use any of my purchased programs with out the Adobe Cloud application.
