I open a new document, start to create and when I do a Save As, I get the spinning beach ball for about a minute. I try to Export and get the same issue.

I simply try to close and get the dialog box to save as Untitled-1 and I get the same issue.

I have restarted my computer multiple times and have the latest updates to my OS and Illustrator.

Does Illustrator have full disk access?

Where do you try to save?

Do you have a printer connected, set up as default printer and turned on?

I am not seeing the app in Full Disk Access. I do see Adobe Update Helper has access. I am unable to add any apps. Clicking the + does nothing but prompt me for my password.

I do have a default printer connected and turned on.

This was not an issue yesterday.

It is working now.

I guess the solution was to move on to something else for a couple hours, then come back and try again.

The issue is back again. I have the issue with both Illustrator and Photoshop. It is beyond frustrating because deadlines are being missed because I can't get even the simplest task done. The best I can do is print.

Hello @plaidasparagus,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to enable Full Disk Access for Illustrator by following the steps shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/4cLGOip) to check if it helps?

Also, try saving to a different location, like the desktop and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
