Unable to select shapes from Toolbar in Illustrator?

I have been trying to select certain tools on the tool box, but it isn't allowing this. Image attached for reference. Please assist.

You have all tools in toolbar that's why they all are greyed out. Select Basic from menu and all other tools will become active.

Hi there,

Sorry about this issue. I agree with Ares's comment. It is possible that the tool you are looking for is hidden under some other tool in the Toolbar. To view more shapes, right-click on the Rectangle tool and let us know if you see other shapes.
