Unable to Switch Between Libraries in Adobe Illustrator CC 2017

I am unable to switch between my libraries on Adobe Illustrator CC 2017. Did not have this issue in the previous version. When I click the drop-down, the menu flashes on screen and then disappears as soon as the mouse-click releases.

Anyone else having this problem? I'm stuck on the last library I had open before updating to CC 2017!

I had a problem selecting another library.

Making the Library Panel larger solved it.

Hi Benjamin,

Do you multiple monitors connected? If yes, please disconnect the secondary one and then check. Also check your GPU in the Illustrator preferences. Do share the findings.

Regards,

Om

I have the same problem. Disconnected both monitors and checked the GPU - No Change.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I have only one monitor. I've tried relaunching CC and restarting my computer. I'm so frustrated!

I just found this temporary solution in another forum and it worked...

Instead of clicking with "left mouse button" try it with "right mouse button". Than you can switch between libraries.

That worked for me too. I use a magic mouse and if you click on the right side of the mouse, I was able to switch libraries. A frustrating bug that should be fixed.

Livzim - workaround does the trick.
On Mac - ctrl, select, click.

I also had this problem (in InDesign only), and was very frustrated. Pulling out the Libraries window on its own and enlarging it did the trick!

Any other fixes? I have tried the enlarging of the Library panel and updated Illustrator and restarted etc, but still cannot change libraries. When I go to pick the different library it snaps back to the current one in the pulldown menu.

Also, I cannot 'click' on library pulldown to select other libraries. I can only select a different library by holding down the mouse button and selecting.
