Ungrouping issue

Hello all,

I grouped the outlined text which was marked with red as you can see in below picture to move them together but I was not able to ungroup after moving. Ungroup option was available and I clicked but nothing changed. What could be the reason?

You have Live Paints objects, they cannot be ungrouped.

Try Object > Live Paint > Expand first.

Can you share a sample .ai file including a description that may explain your issue?

Also, which version of Illustrator are you using?

Ilustrator 2019 for Mac, 23.1.1

I tried to upload a sample file but it refused. Is there somewhere else to upload or email it?

i am having the same issue myself, items have been "ungrouped" repeatedly. ungrouped in the layers panel + checked whole group was selected and nothing. repeatedly, like 20 times and nothing. no clipping masks on, no compound paths. it's a simple line drawn shape

Well, I think ungroup option is not available because, you have not selected the group. Try to select the group from the Layers panel and check ungroup option is available or not. Or you can post screen shot of the Layers panel to show us what actually you have selected.
