I have been experiencing this issue daily for the past few months. Despite updating Adobe Illustrator and attempting various troubleshooting steps, the problem persists. In some cases, I must zoom in and out randomly just to enable the save function. I recently lost my work again when Illustrator failed to save a small file. Even creating and saving a document with only a single letter can trigger the error.

Given that I am using an ASUS TUF with a dedicated RTX 3050 GPU, my device should be capable of running Illustrator without these issues.

It would be better to create a new thread.

Please tell us your version of Illustrator and the system.

Where do you save files?

How large are your files?

What's in them?

Exactly what kind of files do you save?

Can you turn off "Save in background" and try again?

DId you set a printer to be the default printer?

Disable the "Save in Background" setting in the preferences.

Without more information as already requested is difficult to help you.

Just do as it says.

If you want help from this forum we need more details. Such as: when did this appear? What were you doing? What kind of artwork? What kind of hardware?
