Unknown Flex SDK: "Extension Builder 3.4"

I was following the adobe illustrator CS6 Programmer's guide and was on the part of Delivering a plug-in with a Flash UI.

I have Flash Builder 4.6 installed and while importing a sample project "FreeGridUI" I get the error Unknown Flex SDK: "Extension Builder 3.4".

I looked for a solution online which told me to download the latest extension builder and install it through Flash Builder->Help->Install New Software but in the middle I face the following error.

Any suggestions as to what I should do ?

You should install Extension Builder 2.0 instead. (designed for Flash Builder).

I have adobe illustrator CS6 64bit and Flash Builder 6.4 installed. I downloaded and installed the first link you gave me but still I'm getting the same error mentioned above in the image !!

I basically want to build the UI sample projects provided with the illustrator CS6 sdk but my flex builder says it doesn't have CS extension builder installed.

Did you follow this steps:

1. Inside FB, navigate to "Help > Install New Software"
2. Select the "Add..." button
3. Select the "Local..." button
4. Find the unzipped Extension Builder archive
5. Step through the rest of the wizard

Yes I followed all the steps that's how I got the error of the image I attached above.

Like mentioned in the Adobe Illustrator CS6 Programmer's guide, the scenario I want is as follows

choose File > Export > Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder > Creative Suite Extension

but in my case after Export option I don't see option of Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder
