Hi! I just purchased a new Macbook Air laptop since one of the main keys on my older laptop popped off. Well, I tried to download all my apps to my new laptop and NOTHING is downloading, Creative Cloud or any other software I use within my plan, not even Photoshop. I've tried every suggestion on here to no avail. Can anyone tell me if Adobe will be updating these programs any time soon to be able to use them on Apple's newest systems? Thanks for any update, help, and assistance.

Those updates have been done for a while, and the support is spelled out in the system requirements: The latest versions of the major Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator and Photoshop, install and run natively on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 Ventura. There are lots of people running the latest Adobe software on new Macs every day, including many YouTubers seen doing performance tests with Adobe software on the latest M2 Macs. I just updated several to the latest versions on my MacBook Pro M1 Pro today.
So if downloading and installation isn’t happening, it’s an isolated case that needs troubleshooting. Are you seeing any messages, or just nothing is happening when you click Install?

You just don't have a lot of RAM installed. It's the bare minimum to run Illustrator at all.

Ok. Thanks! I thought that my RAM was the same as my MacBook Pro but since you pointed that out it isn't the case. I did do a Migration from this computer to my new one so maybe I can delete files that I don't need to free up some space. I'll also try the links you sent to see if those will be helpful as well as reach out to customer service. Thank you so much for the feedback and information on my issue. I'll let you know if anything worked.

I did do a Migration from this computer to my new one
By @fapeppers
That could be another possible cause of the problems. If your previous Mac was an Intel Mac, it had all kinds of software that was written for Intel processors which probably don’t work great on a new Apple Silicon Mac, because that was a fundamental hardware change. It is possible that some files migrated in from the Intel Mac are screwing up the new Apple Silicon Mac.
Apple Migration Assistant is usually a great tool, but when going through this processor transition, this is one time it is recommended to not migrate and instead install everything fresh. (You can migrate data, just not the applications.) A fresh installation of applications makes sure both the applications and all related code is written for Apple Silicon processors.

You're absolutely right. Was comparing my Macbook Pro hardware configuration/system to the Macbook Air and Intel is definitely prevalent on the Macbook Pro. I've seen Apple Silicon mentioned a couple of times in comments here but haven't really read up on it, but I will now.
So, I'm starting from a clean slate on my new laptop, erasing all content and information, and starting fresh, with no migration. Thank you so much, again, this has truly been a tremendous help.

8GB is not a lot of memory, but it should not stop Creative Cloud from installing applications. And because it’s an Apple Silicon Mac, 8GB actually works a lot better than it did on Intel Macs.
However, @fapeppers, it is true that with only 8GB of Unified Memory, you may have to replace the Mac sooner. If you look at the system requirements for Creative Cloud applications, 8GB has fallen to the “Minimum” amount, with 16GB as the “Recommended” amount. This could mean that 8GB might not even be enough in a few years. Because you just bought this Mac, you might consider checking the return period and if it hasn’t expired yet, and exchanging it for a Mac with 16GB of Unified Memory which would last longer. (I use a Mac laptop with 32GB of Unified Memory, but you might not need that much.)
But again…8GB is enough to allow installation, so that is not the cause of this problem. In fact there is nothing wrong with the system configuration. It is a base model M1 MacBook Air, which is widely used and is known to be a good choice for running Creative Cloud applications.
The size and and amount of unused space on the internal storage is not shown there. It just occurred to me that if there is almost no unused space left, that could lead to unexplained problems like this. How much space is available on the storage inside the MacBook Air? If you bought the least expensive model with 256GB internal storage, that could fill up fast.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback and information. I just bought the MacBook Air the other day because 1) I needed to have something I could work on right away since I'm working on various projects for clients and 2) it was marked down for President's Day so I thought it wasn't a bad deal and thought it would be somewhat a similar system to my MacBook Pro which I purchased in 2019, which had no problem downloading the apps. I did eventually start running out of space due to large files from past to present. When I got the new laptop I thought it wouldn't have any issues downloading the software. But I did do the mitigation from my old laptop to the new one so I'm thinking right now just to go onto my new computer and delete a lot of files I don't need on my new laptop and see if that helps. It's good you mentioned the 8GB (which both have) will soon become less sought after I, that now going forward I'll be looking to get 16GB. I'll see if I can do a trade-up if possible. Thank you so much for your help and advice on this. Truly appreciate it. I was pulling my hair out wondering where I went wrong in getting my apps on my laptop when I've never had any issues downloading to my previous computers/laptops.
