using a specifing font for a project without place in on "fonts" folder

I bought some fonts for a project, i'm going to use it on one project only, then i shell delete it.

if i'll place the fonts files on "fonts" folder i will probably use it again by mistake which i'm not allowed to do so.

isn't any option to place in a a speciel place that it will be avaible just for one project?

It is not like InDesign.

You can create a folder named Fonts in the Illustrator application folder.

If you put a font in that folder, than is Illustrator the only application that detects and can use that font.

But you can make a feature request here:

InDesign has a concept of Document folnts folders. Illustrator doesn't. So maybe put a reminder in your calendar to delete the font?

Maybe save your project with File > Package.

Delete the font and open the file from the Packaged folder.

You will know to find the font in the package folder and install it.

But don't forget to delete it from the fonts folder after you have done edits to the file.

Sounds like a geat idea.
i tried it and found that after i deleted the fonts and opend the packed project, it reports the fonts as missing.

i don't get it. the fonts are in the "fonts" subfolder on the pack folder. it's misses the whole point of packing projects.

The point of packaging projects with fonts is that you can install the font when you need it (and if you have the right to install it because you bought the font0.

Illustrator does not us e the fonts in that folder automatically, like InDesign does.

So there is no "font from folder" solution like indesign? it's strange.

As I already said: there is no such solution.
