Using Illustrator file in AcroRIP 8.2.3

We currently use Illustrator on a Mac but just purchased an A4 UV printer that is only compatible with a PC.  So, we bought a laptop with Windows and installed the printer and the AcroRIP software (did not install Illustrator).  Test print was great.  What we can't figure out is how to get our .ai files from the Mac into the .png format to be usable in the rip program for printing.  We have not used a PC in over 10 years but we are re-learning. Any assistance on how to get our files in a readable format from the Mac to the PC software will be SO appreciated.

The instruction disk that I received said to save as a .png file to print with this UV printer.  I was not familiar with that extension.  I am willing to learn whatever I need to accomplish my end result.

We create graphic images through illustrator to place on metal plates.  The UV printer will offer us better quality.  This printer is the small size that we need but only works with a pc.

Any instructions would be helpful.  Thank you for your time.
