I've downloaded vector images from adobe stock, however, I cannot rearrange the design elements. When an object is moved it leaves a white gap on the background below.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
eg. In the adobe stock image number: 24511195, I'd like to remove the fairy and insert another vector element, however when the fairy is removed there is a white gap in the background.
Also: In the vector image number: 141586926. I want to use the concentric background in another design, however when I remove the clouds the background layer has big gaps. Is there any fix for this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
No, that's just how those images have been constructed. There's nothing wrong with them.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi Doug, thank you for your clarification.
The reason I bought those images is sp I can use all the elements present, including the backgrounds. It seems the way they are supplied are extremely limited as it is a fixed design and not one that can change. How can I request a refund as I'd have to spend considerable time to correct this.
Thank you : )

I don't know if that's a viable argument for a refund. It sounds like stating you bought a stock photo of a couple on a beach, but attempted to remove them and discovered there's no beach behind them. Why would there be?
Adobe may offer you one anyway. You can contact customer care and state your case:

Hi Doug, these are vector images I bought so I can do my own designs on illustrator. This is the first time that I found elements missing. It is not a photo, lol.

That artwork with the sunrays is pretty simple to make yourself. WIth that stained glass window I would not expect to be able to move things around.
I couldn't find the other number.

Hi Monica the other vector image is 224511195.
The background is missing for some reason when the fairy is removed. Is redesigning the missing background the only option?

That is stained glass as well. With that kind of design it simply makes no sense being able to rearrange them.
Yes, redesigning the missing parts is your only option. But also: making that kind of sunrays from scratch is easy.

Yes, I know thats an intricate part of a stained glass design. Thank you for letting me know so I can start the design process, lol : )

I can see what they are. I don't understand why you'd expect the creator to have drawn other elements behind the ones you expect to remove, especially when illustrating a stained glass window design.

There are licencing issues for pod. The designs have to be altered. The creator didn't allow for this and I wonder why?? After all users do pay for these vector images.

With these particular images it's because plates of stained glass are shaped to fit their design. With other images it might be because there's no point in trying to account for every possible use case.

The good thing about vector images is that they are like lego's. They offer the flexibility of disassembling and reassembling it to the graphic designer's liking. Thank you Doug for your input : ))
