Veikk A30 Pen pressure not working in illustrator

I have a veikk A30 running on a MacBook Air 2020 with the latest update. My pen pressure sensitivity works fine in the driver when it shows how much pressure is being applied but it does not work in Illustrator. I've un and reinstalled the software, and tried a few back door ways but have no luck so far. The option in Illustartor to enable pressure is disabled and wont allow me to click it. Running out of ideas what else can I do?

You will probably need to install Illustrator 2020 to set it up.

There are some threads about Wacom tablets and this issue.

I got illustrator 2020 from someone and it works great now 🙂
