Very fast scrolling of menu panels

Hi,
I've always noticed excessive speed when scrolling through the menu panels of the various options, it happens a lot to me with the font menu where scrolling with the trackpad on my macOS is excessively fast, I'd say unusable. I don't think it's a setting on my trackpad as I don't have problems with other apps, just Adobe ones. I have the same problem with the font options in the new Retype (Beta) panel, where the font matches list scrolls very quickly.

Does anyone else have the same impression as me?

Are you using Font management?

Any third party plugins?

The Magnet app?

Not in Illustrator. As per my macOS of course I'm using apps, but I wouldn't call them plugins. To be more specific, I'm not using the Magnet App but another similar one called Rectangle. Could it be this the issue with fast scrolling for the menu panels in Illustrator? I can try and disable the Rectangle app when using Illustrator.

I tried, but there doesn't seem to be any difference. The most striking case is with the new Re-type. The list of suggested fonts scrolls at a speed where it becomes difficult to inspect the results.
