Hi guys, I am making characters for Character Animator, I love the Freeform Gradient tool but it has been a little frustrating. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!! Note: I did notice the Appearance got unchecked on Eyedropper but I did it with it checked, same result

It's not ideal is it !

if you have finished editing the gradient

this also worked! it's funny, both methods remove the ability the edit the gradient in the future, but I can make a duplicate backup of the original object if I need to go back and edit the gradient.

It stays a vector object in the symbol.

You can still edit it. Double click the symbol.
