Video MIA from tutorials???

Hello,

I am a new Graphic Design teacher for a high school and a video we had been using in class just went offline and was replaced today. https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/learn/illustrator/in-app/explore-shapes?locale=en

The old link had 4 videos and we were using the first 3.

1. Creating Shapes with Robots

2. Line Segment Tool with a house

3. Combining Shapes with a Robot/Moon/Eye

4. Tracing Shapes

The URL was https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/how-to/shapes-basics.html?mv=affiliate&mv2red

They were great videos! It was a curve ball to have them disapear in the middle of class. Is this something Adobe does frequently, remove tutorials. Want to avoid this conflict in the future.

If anyone knows how to access the videos please let me know.

I think I got to the bottom of the link issue... for now. Hopefully this will help someone else.

These URL's will open the old index of tutorials - NOTE the "in" in the path:

I think that @Monika Gause sees them in the localized version? for instance, Belgium has an english locale that also shows them at the time of writing: https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/illustrator/how-to/shapes-basics.html?mv=affiliate&mv2red

The "in" pages are the English version for India.

But, if the contents disappears at the main address (without the country codes), it might then disappear in the locales after a given time.

Yes!!!! I ran into the same issue today using the videos for a university IL intro course. I found that the old video links were opening up different tutorials in different browsers?! Safari was opening the "hands on tutorial", Chrome was opening the traditional "tutorial video". And yet different again in Chrome from an ipad???

My fix was to direct students to both videos types in the help menu within IL. I'm hoping I can figure out how to directly link to the traditional videos as I post links to a course website. It's all created a hot mess in two weeks into a course. Any tips or work around would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid to see how this impact the rest of the tutorials for Photoshop and INDD.
