Vinyl cutting - Making art curve - need direction.

Hello.

 

This is one section of the art:

I bought the file. This is what one stretch looks like. There are two colors:

I have been mocking a design and so I checnged the colors. But I want to make this curve like this:

I need to make this vector - and once it is bent in photoshop tracing does not work. Also making it bend in illustrator is false as the orginal lines are still there.

 

I may not be explaining this the best but does anyone have a process they can offer?

then when you have your single section of the repeating pattern created, group the whole section together, then drag it into your "Brushes" panel. In the dialog that opens, click "Pattern Brush". tinker with any settings in the next dialog to get your desired result.

 

then draw a circle and apply the new brush to the stroke of the circle. It should repeat nicely and curve perfectly around the circle.
