I downloaded this file from freepik. Hiding/Unhiding text does not work properly. What is the reason? file & video uploaded
I tested it on my Windows computer and had the same problem as your movie showed (but worked on my Mac properly).
It seems to be related to putting the drop shadow on the entire group in the Appearance panel.
When I put it on each object separately, the visibility worked properly.
I sense a bug...
PS: NVIDA have two types of drivers: Game Ready Driver and Studio Driver.

Left side of the video shows there are layers & next to layers there are eye symbols. Which is there to hide & unhide layers. You can see if I hide the "sky" layer "sky" in the graphic area is hidden & again I unhide the layer, "sky" in the graphic area does not show. This is the issue.

I cannot reproduce that. Did you already reboot the computer?

Reboot does not work. I tried with other files created by me from scratch but found no similar issue.

Then just forgetting about that file is not an option? It's not worth thinking about it.

Can you upload the problem file? If you don't want it to upload it for everyone, click on my name and send me a message. Then I can send you my email.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what that link was so I was hesitant to click on it.
Unfortunately, it works perfectly on my system. I still suspect the GPU. Go to the GPU manufacturer's website and see if the drivers need updating. Another option is to uninstall Illustrator and reinstall. (I would run the Adobe CC Cleaner to uninstall, as it does a better job than just the regular uninstall.)
Also, can you give your specs to your system: OS version, processor, RAM, GPU model & driver, and hard drive space?

It is a latest driver for graphic card.

I tried it on my Mac. I'll try it on my Windows system in about an hour.
Are you using the GRD for SD driver?

I use Adobe CC Cleaner to uninstall Ai but it did not work.
I use SSD. I do not know what is meant by GRD.

So that Mac is robust compared with Windows.

Both platforms have there share of problems and advantages. This bug just happens to be one for Windows. At least there is a workaround. (Have you tested the workaround on your system yet?)

No, I did not test any workaround.
