Hello I have this design. In its original file the fireworks look good, when I copy it to another document it looks terrible.

It looks like the original document is probably in RGB color mode and has its transparency effects (blending modes like multiply, etc.) tied to that color mode. If the artwork is pasted into a new CMYK document the colors will shift dramatically.
Edit: didn't see Ton's reply until I posted my comment.

Hello Julia,
Keep in mind that PNG files can have 8, 24, or 32 bits. If you want to include one in an Adobe Illustrator document, I don’t recommend copying and pasting. Instead, use the File > Place command. You can choose to either "Link" or "Embed." In this case, make sure to place it in a new file set to RGB color mode. The PNG format does not support CMYK color mode.

Are you making a copy from an RGB document and paste it into a CMYK document?

Some transparency blending modes behave different in another color mode.

Hello @Julia Escudero,

Are these both AI files? Could you check if you are using the same color settings for both documents to see if it helps?

If the problem persists, kindly share screenshots of the document color settings and a link to a sample file after uploading it to a file-sharing service, so I can check it on my end.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
