Hello Monika!
Thanks for getting back to me.
I've attached a picture to show how the thickness of the rectangles change and i've also attached the settings of the warp tool.
I dont want the thickness to change, i want them to maintain their original form while being warped like the picture.

Warp tool? You mean envelopes?
OK, I have seen it. What you can try is use envelopes instead of the warp tool or even on top of it. First make the lines, then Object > Envelope distort > Make with mesh. Make a mesh of 1/1. Then Use the Warp tool.
If you rather want the distortion like in the first image, outline the strokes before applying the mesh

It worked!
Just one more question how do i get the lines to not overlap like in this screenshot?

You have to be very careful when using the tools. And then also adjust the mesh grid using more precise tools like the direct selection tool. When you double click the Liquify tools you can set up their strength. Make it low.

The lines do change thickness in the shirt pic...
If you want the (relatively) uniform thickness to the left of the tree, you could just use the transform tool on some selected anchor points. If you don't have enough, add extra with Object→Path→Add anchor points...
