What is a PitchBook Presentation?

Hi everyone,

I am aware that most presentations are made in powerpoint, however, plenty of illustrations and images for them are made in Illustrator or Photoshop so I'm hoping this still in a way qualifies.
I have been tasked with revamping a pitchbook presentation that's "is designed to be a presenter-independent eBook (rather than a presentation to audiences)."

I've only ever made presentations for audiences and have no idea what a pitchbook is as google doesn't do a very good job at providing examples (or maybe I'm typing the wrong thing into google).

Can anyone please help me understand the differences between a common presentation and a pitchbook? And tell me where to go for some good examples to see?

It’s for investment bankers. It’s not really a question about Adobe Illustrator.

Try Slideshare.net where there are a lot of different presentations posted and you can search for pitch books. A pitch book is usually when when is try to pitch their ideas to try and get funding to start a business or a new avenue within a business, thus "pitch." A regular presentation can be a year in review or trying to show people what your business is, not necessarily to get funding to stat a business. (Although that isn't always what a pitch book is.) Hope that helps.
