When I log out (Windows) or I shut my laptop, Illustrator crashes frequently

Below is image. I can't say that this has always happened with this new computer. I can say that on the 3-4 other computers I have run Illustrator, this has never been an issue. I am always careful now to save work before walking away from my laptop, lest I lose my work. In an ideal world I could keep Illustrator running when I shut my laptop instead of having to save and exit out each time.

Any solutions?

Hi,

1st of all, AI has auto-save since CS6, don't worry about your «work».

Which version of AI do you run exactly, today?

Try to restart AI in safe mode:
