When I save an illustrator file as a jpeg it adds -01 before the .jpg

When I export an illustrator file as a jpeg it adds -01 before the .jpg

It adds the -01 after I have saved it, it is not showing the -01 before I press save.

Eg the file can be like this.  PinkPotato-01.jpg, I don't want -01 in the file names.

I have Googled and can't find anyone else with this problem. Confusing.

Thank you for your reply.

I don't go to "Export for screens" I go to "export" but incidently those boxes are the same as your screen shot.

Weird how this happens to me, on my 2011 Mac and CS6 it did it, and now on my 2020 Mac and CC it does it!
