I found a remote job offer, it would be my first remote work experience ever so I wonder which are the best practices to get the job

I would proceed with caution.  Does remotely mean sub-contractor?  Will the company mandate they have full access to your computer?  I say caution because if you are using your computer, your ISP, your electricity, and your software, you're not an employee.  Then there is copyright ownership issues.  I would contact a lawyer who specializes in employment.  I'd also ask for a brief on the position ( if you don't have one already ) and a working contract ( they must have something that says what you work on is confidential and may limit your ability to work for competitors ).  All of this really depends on what type of company it is and what their product/service is.
