Why am I copy-pasting to all artboards simultaneously?

Hi There,

I'm on one of my 3 artboards—in Mac OS—and when I do a simple select > Cmd+C > C+P , the thing pastes into every artboard.

Can anyone tell me how I can stop this happening?

Thanks folks,

John

Are your keyboard shortcuts the defaults? The usual shortcut to paste on all artboard is alt+shift+ctrl+V. Is that's what's listed next to it in the Edit menu?

Hi There,

Thanks for the help. I notice since posting thsi that it's not happening anymore. I think what was happening was I was using an old InDesign command of (Mac OS) Cmd+alt+shift+V to paste an object in the exact same spot it was copied from, and it pasted on all artboards. What I really needed was Cmd+F!

I think that's what was happening yesterday. I think. I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks,

John
