Question

Why does half of my image get flatted into a solid color when I export as a png?

I am trying to export a vector to a png file in Illustrator but half of my image is getting lost and renders simply as a flat color.  Please see the attached images which show in Illustrator before I export and the after when I open it Photoshop.  Can someone please tell me what I need to change in the settings to avoid this?

Are you using Use Artboards when exporting?

Yes, I am using an Artboard.  Is there something I need to do with that to fix my issue?

Hi,

I couldn't reproduce the same problem, but wouldn't it be necessary to expand the artboard to a size that would fit all the objects?

Also, do you use “Export for Screens”, “Export As” or “Save for Web” for export?
