Why does illustrator make a sound when I use a keyboard shortcut?

Hi-- on Windows 10.. Illustrator 27.5

I added this shortcut (Alt+X) for reflect.

When I select an element, and press Alt+X, the 'error' sound happens, but the command still executes.

When selecting the command from the menu, there is no sound.

Why do I have a sound when using the shortcut?

I thought it may be something specific to Alt+X, but I also get it when using Alt+D.

I noticed I also get this sound in other applications (in Powerpoint, however, Alt+D doesn't cause a sound, but Alt+X does).

Ah, found some other threads on this topic...

They all indicate this is normal windows.. but being that PowerPoint doesn't do this with Alt+D leads me to believe that there is likley a way for applications to handle this better.

In any event, I opted to use a different shortcut w/o ALT.
