Why is the rectangle tool here?????

And not with the shapes underneath. Am I missing something?

You can edit which tools are visible and where they are located by clicking the "..." icon at the bottom of the Tools panel.

Looks like your toolbars were modified.

Try Windows >> Toolbars >> Advanced if they are set to something else, or choose basic.
