Hi!
Sometimes I change the corners of an square with the 'Rectangle properties', but when I come back (few hours later) and try to do it again, the whole 'Rectangle properties' might be gone?
How to get it back?
(I havent' found the logic of it. Sometimes it's gone and sometimes not. I've propably done something to that particular element so that the 'rectangle properties' is not seen).

When the rectangle gets converted to a normal path, the rectangle properties are gone.
THis might happen when you do Object > Shape > Convert to path or when you edit single points on the path or path segments

Ok.
I have stretched the square from the control points, BUT the shape of the corners haven't changed.
Is this enough to make the 'Rectangle Properties' vanish?

THat might be the case, yes.
Why don't you stretch it using the shape properties?

Are you creating your rectangle and adding rounded corners using the Effect menu/stylize/rounded corners option?
