Why SVG-Export creates incorrect id attribute?

Hi

This are the layernames I have:

__Alain___0-1652795813630.png

Then: File > Export > Export as.. > SVG / "Use artboard".

Export-Settings:

__Alain___1-1652795894480.png

Results in a wrong g-element-id:

__Alain___2-1652796049534.png

I need the id-attribute like this (and same principle for all other g-elements):

<g id="5-4-3">

It worked with a maybe +/- one year old version of this Illustrator file.
The only mistake it did, was adding an underslash before the id-name (example: id="_5-4-3" instead of id="5-4-3") but that was easy to handle.

Does anybody know what I do wrong?

Did Adobe change the export-code?

Kind regards

Alain

Hi Srishti

Thanks for your advise.

Ai 26.3.1 did not solve the problem.

The problem is that in XML-conventions id's cannot start with a number-sign.

I guess that's why Illustrator adds some non-number chars at the begining of the id-name?

And maybe older Illustrator-Versions have ignored that convention?

Kind regards

Alain
