Will Adobe create student discount single month plans? (coronavirus)

You are probably aware that a number of universities across the country have made plans to adjust their operations as the situation regarding the COVID-19 continues to shift. In efforts to curtail spreading the virus, classes that were taught face-to-face will temporarily transition to online delivery until April 16. My students use Adobe Illustrator software in a computer lab. The cost for Adobe Illustrator for one month is $31.00+  I was told from Adobe that there is not a student discounted rate for a one month plan. Most of my students will not have the need for Illustrator after this course so paying for the student discounted $19.99/month yearly plan is not an option. Would Adobe PLEASE consider helping support the students affected by the Coronavirus by providing a one month free or a one-month student discounted rate for Illustrator during this pandemic crisis? This sincere gesture from Adobe will tremendously help from disrupting students' studies until they can return to campus in a month. So many businesses are being affected by this coronavirus....it would be a humble gesture to show your support to students.

    Hi

UserVoice for Illustrator has a slightly different URL than the two that were given:

    https://illustrator.uservoice.com/

Many universities purchase a plan from Adobe that gives their students access to Creative Cloud from their own computers and is managed by the IT department. Have you talked to your administrators about purchasing such a plan?

For us at CUNY (250,000+ students) the cost was too high (I dont' have direct knowledge but this is my understanding).

It's time that Adobe offer short term free licenses for students who are taking classes that require use of Adobe software.

"Most of my students will not have the need for Illustrator after this course"

    Hi

I am a user like you and do not speak for Adobe and have absolutely no idea what Adobe will or won't do. The UserVoice link goes to the product managers, so I hope you posted there. My sister is a professor and says they build the cost of the Creative Cloud subscription into the tuition and with alumni fundraising.

There is student pricing for an annual subscription, as you noted. I am curious about the sentence I quoted above, though, and wonder why students are taking Illustrator when they will have no need for it after the course? If they wish to pursue a job that uses Illustrator, I would think they would want the student subscription and wouldn't be able to stay away from using it every day. Again, this is only my own opinion.
