With Illustrator 2023 open, Macbook Pro M2 storage is full.

When the application is open, the system data of my computer goes up to 150 GB. My computer is 256gb. The application is running very slow. When trying to save the pdf the program closed and did not save my work. I couldn't save. What is their reason? Can you help me ? thx 🙏

How large is the file and where are you saving it?
