Hello,
I have PNGs placed on light shade of grey background, when I save it as PDF, everything is fine on screen, however, when I print it, there are very light yellow squares around PNG images and some parts are pixelated - even beyond the border of image, where transparency should be.
- Whole document is in CMYK, I have tried opening the PNG in Photoshop, mask background, then save it as PSD, even changed profile to CMYK, then replace it in Illustrator artwork, but the result is the same.
- The PNG is 300dpi, 1000x1000px
- I turned off downsampling when exporting PDF, didn't work
Any ideas?
Thank you, it wasn't exactly my case, but it led me the right way. I eventually solved the PNG problem by saving the PDF as standard PDF/X-4:2010.
