Can't seem to get Illustrator for Web to work on a Chromebook (still?) Help!

Did anyone ever figure out if the beta will ever work on the Chrome OS (on a Chromebook) again? We keep getting the "Unsupported Browser" error and I'd really like to use it for my high school kids in design class this fall. We start in a week. (I'm a teacher).

Hello, I'm in the same boat now in April 2025 and I'm still getting the "Unsupported Browser" for the online Illustrator on a Chromebook. Our Chrome OS is up to date.

    Hello @Andy5C44,

Currently, Illustrator on the Web is not supported on Chrome OS. I understand that this is not ideal, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
I have shared your feedback with the product team, and you can expect improvements in this regard in the future. For the time being, please try using Illustrator on the Web on a supported device (https://adobe.ly/3XSjRVL) to check if it helps.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Hi! For anyone running into this issue, please confirm that your Chromebooks meet all of the "Minimum" OR "Recommended" requirements and ensure you're using the most recent version of Chrome. This will help the team figure out exactly why some users are unable to access Illustrator on the Web. Thank you!
Make sure to look under "Illustrator on the Web Beta"

@Anubhav M are you able to provide an update on this?

+1 from us. Photoshop and all other products work apart from Illustrator.

We bought license for 350 pupils and can't use this product as someone from the coding team forgot to add ChromeOS to supported operating systems.

Chrome OS is literally Chrome web browser so this should be a quick fix.

Yes, please fix this ASAP! So many schools use Chrombooks now because they are relatively cheap and easy to manage.

I also would like to use this with my students (middle schoolers). It's super frustrating especially given how well done the tutorial is for learning Illustrator on the web.
