Hello! Adobe Illustrator is not working or installing on my 2025 Microsoft Surface Laptop 1st edition with Snapdragon. Does anyone know how to bypass this or when Adobe Illustrator will come out for this laptop?

Also, perhaps related, when I try to select a shape, click on object, and then click expand, the option to "expand" is grayed out. How do I fix this?

Thank you in advance!

    Hello @Maia27249978no9q,

I appreciate you getting in touch. The Illustrator application is not yet available as a full desktop version for first-generation Surface devices equipped with Snapdragon processors, which is the reason for the installation failure. Currently, Illustrator on Windows ARM is only provided as a beta version, limited to newer Snapdragon X Series devices and English locales. Unfortunately, older ARM devices like the first-generation Surface Laptop are not supported at this moment. I understand that this situation is not ideal, and the product team is diligently working to enhance ARM compatibility in the future. Regarding the Expand option being disabled, this may occur based on the type of object selected. Could you please provide a screenshot of the object you are selecting for better understanding?

Let me know what you discover, and I would be glad to assist you further.
