Accidently deleted a layer of my project

Hey, I have a problem. I accidentally deleted a layer of the project I had been working on for days... It was the main layer and now it's gone. Is there a way to recover it when I haven't left the project since? I believe the new version of the project hasn't been saved yet because I didn't exit the project after I deleted the layer... So the previous version must still somehow be recoverable, right? Can anyone help me?

If you did not save it, save this one using Save As... and give it a different name.

Open the old one and copy the layer content into the new named one (check "Paste Remembers Layers" in the Layers panel).

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the fact that I draw on my phone, using Illustrateor Draw. I looked for a feature similar to the one you described but I'm afraid there isn't one.

You could try if this works: go to https://assets.adobe.com/mobilecreations

Duplicate the project.

Then go back to where you came from in the current project.

I'm not quite sure how you can then merge the 2 projects.
