Adobe Illustrator 2020 drop shadow offset changes by 0.125 inches now
I just updated my software to Adobe Illustrator 2020. I had a previous version, but I'm not entirely sure which one it was. I used it up until early March of 2020. Here's my issue:
when I went to the drop down menu for Effect>Stylize>Drop shadow, the panel to edit would allow you to change the X and Y offsets and blur by clicking on arrows, and the values would change by +/-0.1 inches. It wasn't ideal, and would be better if they could be changed by more precise measurements such as 0.05 or 0.025 inches for the work I did, but a clean 0.1 inch could still work in certain circumstances.
For Adobe Illustrator 2020, the X/Y offsets and blur change by 0.125. This makes finding the right amount of blur and coordinates for the shadow a lot less precise, and messes with the workflow when entering the values manually.
Why would Adobe change the default to 0.125 inches? Is there a way to change this? If there isn't, could Adobe add some sort of way to change increments like this for precise vs. large projects? Or at least change it back to 0.1 inches?
Thanks for the help.
