Adobe Illustrator Script Automatically Insert File Name?

Working on custom scripts to automate print ready PDF's. Printers require text inscriptions on the PDFS in each corner of the document, is it possible to automatically add in text that uses the data of the active documents file name?

hoping to do this in a batch like setup across alot of docs at once.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When you save as a PDF you can include various page marks - trim marks, text into such as filename etc.

 

However, if you require more control, you could add a placeholder text in rego colour:

 

{FILENAME}.pdf

 

And then run this script:
