AMD Radeon Vega 8 Mobile Graphics and Illustrator GPU Performance

Explorer ,
Jul 16, 2018 Jul 16, 2018

Is my AMD Vega 8 MOBILE Graphics not compatible with Illustrator CC 2018 22.1 (64 bit)?

If so, what do I need to change so it shows as a compatible GPU in Illustrator?

Regards

Does it support Open GL 4.x?

Other than that: an engineer might need to step in here.

Or you might need to contact Customer Care.

You need to get a card that meets the specs:

I have read the Illustrator system requirements and as best I can tell, my AMD Radeon Vega 8 Mobile Gfx GPU, my HP Envy x360 with AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor with 8Gb RAM, and 64-bit Windows 10 meets all of the requirements...

...unless I missed something.

Could you kindly double check me?

Thanks and Regards

I have looked all through AMD's website and it mentions the Vega GPUs are OpenGl 4.6, but it does not say specifically my exact GPU. However, I run AutoCAD and other math intensive and 3D vector modeling programs with out any problems, so I would be VERY surprised if my GPU is not OpenGl 4.x.

How can my issue reach an engineer on your side?

Thanks again
