Can Someone Help Me Create This Simple PS Image?

I am so frustrated on this simple image.

I use AI for laser cutting, and it works beautifully. Right now I am trying to create duplicate this guitar pick image first in PS, then bring it over to AI for my laser cutter.

I need all the color removed inside, leaving just a thin black line as an outline, for the laser cut. Simple, huh? Not for me.

I'd be willing to pay someone a small amt via PP or Venmo to get this done, if necessary. I have spent HOURS on this stupid thing, and I have just don't have time. It's a special favor for one of my customers, but I'm about to get his money back.

Thank you. I've looked at lots of YT vids and can usually figure stuff like this out, but not this time.

Appreciate it.

Go to Indexed Color panel in Photoshop (Image / Mode / Indexed Color):

Palette: Local (Perceptual)
Colors: 2
Forced: None
Options: None

Save the image as a PNG file then open it with Illustrator.

In Illustrator,

Select the image,

Click "Object / Image Trace / Make",

Then click "Object / Expand",

Then click "Object / Live Paint / Make".

Now you can easily add strokes and change the unwanted colors.

Press "K" key and change the black color(s) with using live paint.
