Can't find font in Illustrator

I downloaded a font called TMC-Ong Do (Vietnamese font). I can use it in Microsoft Document, but I can't find the font in the font list in Illustrator. I checked the font book in Control Panel and it's there already. Can anyone help?

Have you closed and reopened Illustrator since installing the font?

Sometimes they don't show up immediately if the app is already open.

    I was able to access the font in Microsoft Doc and use it without any problem, so I didn't think it's the font's problem. And I did check multiple time to no avail. I'm not sure what the problem is honestly

    Illustrator is a lot more sensitive when it comes to font quality. So please check that font.

    Maybe this font is broken, maybe without right outlines?

    But be sure (as said Tom and Monika) you chcec all fonts carefully

    Yes, I have scrolled the list until the very end. Yes, I tried Show Font Names in English. I still can't find it.

    Did you check: Preferences > Type > Show Font Names in English ?
