Can you Toggle visibility between objects in group?

In the layers panel... Can you Toggle visibility between objects in a group?

You can for layers by pressing the eyeball and alt click.

What about groups and objects?

I can't seem to do it

I'm afraid you can't. This nifty trick only works for layers.

So unless you put everything on separate layers (there are side menu commands in the Layers panel to do that), you can't.

As I (mis)understand it, just Click the arrow at the Gorup to expand it; then you can hide/show and lock/unlock each object.
