Take the live paint tool, select a fill color.

Click into one of the areas. Then double click into one of the others.

THey should all be filled in the same color

Expand

Ungroup.

As Monika say, You can use the Live Paint Bucket then Expand and Ungroub or isolation mode.

but I think you need to edit it making a table, If so this grid isn't for tables you can use it to make a pixel art but if you need to make a table you can draw lines separately or you can go to InDesign and Create Table because no tables in Illustrator.

Try this:

Draw a square, (You could draw a rectangle, but will be easier to work with if you draw a square).

Fill it with a color and no stroke.

With the square selected, choose Object > Path > Split into Grid. Type the same number for rows and columns so that you end up with squares instead of rectangles.

Choose Object > Expand.

Each square will be a separate individual shape. Select individual squares with the Selection tool and edit them as you wish (change color, move, etc)

Adding . . . You can easily select and delete any extra squares so that you have a 15 x 9 grid as shown in your screen capture.
