Creating hollow cylinder with section cut out

Hello everyone,

I am a relatively new illustrator user. I was wondering if there is a way to create a hollow cylinder-like shape with a portion cut out to show the interior of the cylinder? I have attached an image from the internet to give an idea of what I am intending on making. Is there an "easy" way to prepare such a figure from a single cylinder without having to piece together multiple cylinders?
