Crop image issue on illustrator while exporting JPG

Hello, am a great fan of illustrator, however, lately I've been having some trouble exporting images from illustrator. Here is the case:

When making an artwork with bleed on my art board, and trying to export as jpg. It exports the image along with what is in the bleed for some artworks even when I check the "use art board" box.

I am actually using CS6, thanks to help.

Prior to exporting as a jpeg go into Document Setup and set bleed to zero (you can revert after you export your jpeg). Then checking "use art board" when you export to jpeg will not produce any bleed on the finished jpeg.

Which export function exactly do you use with which settings?
