Curve with defined radius, tangent to two paths?

I'm working on some UI for my website and I'm trying to tackle the following issue. I need to have the green circle have a radius of 24 px, and to be tangent to both the horizontal live above it and to the circle that is selected and to it's bottom right. How do I achieve this?

    gregand,

You may, Smart Guides being your friends:

    1) Select the grey circle and Object>Path>Offset Path with an offset of 12px,

    2) With the Line (Segment) Tool ClickDrag along the (bottom of the) grey line above, then move the line 12px down,

    3) ClickDrag the green circle by its centre to where the offset circle from 1) and the line from 2) intersect (Smart Guides say intersect when you are within snapping distance).

    You are welcome, gregand.

No need to DUH. I believe few might have thought of it.

Try the plugin SubScribe or the plugin ColliderScribe

I actually had that plugin already installed and had messed around with it. It was decent but not perfect and figured there had to be a perfect option out there.  Details like this makes me miss autocad! It eventually got the job done, but it was a PITA. I could pick two paths, but I couldn't type in the radius of the circle I wanted and had to fiddle with the mouse to get the exact radius I wanted (many minutes of fiddling!!!).
