Default angle of an object?

Hi all, thanks in advance for answering this question..

I have a problem in my adobe illustrator where every time i start drawing a new object, like a circle, rectangle, etc., the angle of the object is 15º by default. I know how to change the angle, however, it is very time consuming to change it every time in the settings back to 0º. 

Any of you haverun into similar issues or know how to fix it? I'm sure its just a matter of changing the default settings, but I have no idea how to do it.. Newbie here. Sorry for the stupid question.

Preferences >General>Constraint Angle is what needs to be reset.

Hi, 

My recollection (for all Adobe apps) is that a default gets set when a parameter is entered when no document is opened yet. (It’s handy when you want to customize a default.) Resetting should be simple as entering the value you want with no docs open. [Community, is this not still the case?] —Bill K.
