will appreciate your help

Tnx

Anna

omg, you were kind of right. I use wacom but now i tried with a regular mouse and it's working.

i wish the is a way i could solve it with the wacom too because i rarely use the mouse.

    THANK YOU!!!

There have been some issues with incompatibilities with Illustrator and Wacom. That's an issue to take up with Intuos.

    The sequence is important.

    Select the object.

    Hold down Option.

When your cursor is close to the object you should see a double arrowhead, one white and one black.

Keep the Option key down, keep the mouse button down, and start dragging. You must start dragging before adding the Shift key.

Keep the Option key and the mouse down and add the shift key. Continue dragging to move the object. The object should now be duplicated and the movement should be constrained to the closest direction or angle you are dragging.

When the object is in the right position, release the mouse first. Then release the Option and Shift key.

I don't think the order is important.

I can start dragging, hold down the Shift key and then the Option key and I get a constrained copy.

I thought someone might say that. But if Anna tries with those steps it may help her.
