Effect > 3D missing

I have not used this feature in a year or so, but today when I needed to, I went to use and it is now missing.

Not grayed out, but actually missing.

Did I miss something and it was removed, renamed, or anything? I tried to search online and here on the forum to find any documentation on it but I can't seem to find an answer.

If anyone can shed some light on this I would really appreciate it.

Well it used to be there, but I had to get a new computer back in August, and I never noticed it until now.

What I did do was install the latest update that rolled out today and bang... it is back.

Do this is resolved now. I still don't understand how it vanished though.

Hi David,

Ideally it should have been there. What is the version of your Illustrator? What is the OS you are running on your computer? Did you try to reset the AI preferences? If not, please do and then check. See : How to set preferences in Illustrator
