Gradient tool - no live preview

New Here ,
Nov 06, 2019 Nov 06, 2019

Since I updated the gradient tools is presenting a faulty behavior - whic, I assume, is some sort of bug.

When moving sliders on the image the colors are not changing; only when I 'release' that the gradient is updated. In other other words, it is no longer givving me a "live preview" of the gradient.

I'm attaching a video to show more clearly what I'm saying.

It is really annoying and it is slowing me down.

AI CC 2015 does not have the live preview. I see that AI CC 2019 DOES. Nice feature.

Before the update, the gradient tool would show you how it would look like when you drag your gradient over an object. Now you first need to let go your mouse before you see how your gradient is applied to a certain object. The live action is gone. Is this something I can fix myself?

This worked in version 2019 and stopped working in 2020.
