Hello!

I have this glyph that I need to obtain an outline of, but after hours of trying to do so in both Ps and Ai I have been unsuccessful. If anyone could tell me how I could do this that would be great!

The glyph is this: https://github.com/xjcxx/files/blob/master/images/org.coolstar.electra%403x.png

An example of another glyph that has the theme that I am going for is this: https://github.com/xjcxx/files/blob/master/images/com.toyopagroup.picaboo%403x.png

Which would have originally been this: https://github.com/xjcxx/files/blob/master/images/com.toyopagroup.picaboo%403x%20-%20original.png

Thanks in advance for any help that I receive!

Take the pen tool and draw it manually. Will give the best results (above all: straight lines and sharp corners)

For the outlined ghost: draw one line, apply a stroke, and then expend the stroke (Object > Path > Outline stroke)

If you don't have the font, then just use Image trace of Illustrator.

Object Menu -> Image Trace -> Make

Then Adjust the settings in the Image Trace Panel (Window Menu - Image Trace)

Increase the Paths to 80-90% (Advanced - Paths)

This is what I have so far: https://github.com/xjcxx/files/blob/master/files/org.coolstar.electra%403x.ai

I don't know how to get rid of the black background and obtain the outline of the white shape. How would I do this?
